Data Entry & AI Review Specialist

Andela connects skilled talent across Africa and beyond with global companies building world-class digital products. As part of our growing data operations team, we're looking for detail-oriented Data Entry & AI Review Specialists to support both the foundational data workflows and the human oversight that keeps AI-generated outputs accurate and trustworthy. This is a hybrid role — you'll handle traditional data entry tasks while also reviewing and correcting AI-generated outputs, making it a strong entry point into the growing field of AI data operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Accurately input, organize, and update structured data across spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems

Review AI-generated outputs (text, labels, extracted data, or classifications) for accuracy, consistency, and completeness

Identify and correct errors, mislabeled data, or inconsistencies produced by automated systems

Cross-check AI outputs against source material to validate quality before final submission

Flag recurring error patterns to help improve the underlying AI models and workflows

Maintain organized records and meet agreed turnaround times for both entry and review tasks

Requirements

Strong typing accuracy and speed, with excellent attention to detail

Ability to spot inconsistencies, errors, or anomalies in data quickly

Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and basic digital tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar)

Sound judgment when reviewing content that requires human interpretation rather than pure data entry

Reliable computer and stable high-speed internet connection

Ability to work independently, follow structured guidelines, and manage a task-based workload

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in data entry, data annotation, quality assurance, or content review

Familiarity with AI/data labeling tools or ticketing systems

Basic understanding of how AI/machine learning models use data (not mandatory, but an asset)

Experience working with global, remote teams

Assessment Process

Shortlisted applicants will complete a short skills assessment covering both data entry accuracy and AI-output review, followed by identity verification before onboarding.
